The City is partnering with the Medford Arts Council and local volunteers to host Medford Porchfest on June 3, Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn announced. Porchfest is a citywide festival celebrating the music and multiculturalism of the City. It is scheduled to take place on June 3 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, June 4.
Neighbors host musical acts outdoors on their porches (or patios, driveways, and lawns) in a live, free, public performance at locations all around the city during the festival. The event will spotlight the musical skills and diverse cultures of the Medford community.
"We are thrilled to help create this new tradition of music and celebration of cultures with the inaugural Porchfest event in Medford,” said Mayor Lungo-Koehn. “We have so much talent and creative expression in our community and being able to recognize our neighbors with this festival is truly special. I have already signed up to host a band during the event, so I hope to see everyone there!”
